Roller Derby

I have a new endeavor in my life - roller derby. And no, not shooting photos of it. I mean playing. It's probably the most fun I have ever had, plus it's challenging and good exercise.

It's pretty much taken over my life, yet oddly enough, I'm not compelled to shoot it. The action is tough to capture, and I still don't own a good, external flash... so I haven't bothered a whole lot. There's also the fact that I get so caught up watching and studying the game, that I don't even think about picking up my camera. Either way, you can see the few shots I have here.

I'm finally getting my butt back into gear on photography, though. I've been messing with Lightroom, and I have some shots from my first engagement session coming up. Stay tuned!
